"The first is migration-related -- virtualizing older applications that our customers depend on so they can be moved quickly to run on new hardware, without having to go through days of lengthy re-installation. The second is providing disaster recovery and back-up for these server applications so they can run anywhere, allowing us to update images every few days or even hours."
